💧 Doylestown Township Municipal Authority are asked to watch their use

💧 A "critical piece of infrastructure" needs repair

💧 Service will be affected through Monday night, officials say

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, Pa. — A "mechanical failure" has led officials to ask residents to avoid unnecessary water use.

Doylestown Borough on its Facebook page Saturday night wrote that the failure to a "critical piece of infrastructure" plus the impact of the ongoing repainting project at the Maplewood water tank led to the request.

Customers of the Doylestown Township Municipal Authority may experience low water pressure or temporary service loss. The situation is expected to be resolved by Monday evening,

The utility also provides water for parts of New Britain Borough and Plumstead Township.
