BRISTOL, Pa. — An argument in the parking lot of a Wawa led to a male being shot late Thursday night.
Bristol Township police said shots were fired just before midnight during a disagreement between two people outside the store on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in the Levittown section.
A male who was lying in the parking lot when officers arrived was taken to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township. He was flown to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia for further treatment.
Shooter remains at scene and cooperates with investigators
The victim was in critical condition on Friday morning, according to police. The identities of both individuals involved in the shooting were not disclosed.
The person who fired the shot stayed at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation.
The store, which is open 24 hours, was closed after the shooting but was reopened for business by daybreak on Friday morning, according to Levittown Live.
