The pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended in Morrisville on Trenton Avenue near the Calhoun Street Bridge when police successfully used spike strips to flatten its tires.

The game between the Morrisville High School Bulldogs and Bristol High Warriors was called off "out of concern for student safety and lack of available/eligible players," according to a message on the Morrisville school district Facebook page.

It kicks off November 21st.

Morrisville Borough police said Tammy Wright of Trenton was on the bridge when she saw a woman holding a knife to her throat on the New Jersey side of the "Trenton Makes, the World Takes" bridge.

Officers who entered the Morrisville apartment found what they described as a "disgusting mess" with odors, feces, and no food or water.

The 28-year-old victim was with police at the entrance of the Border Gentlemen’s Club in Morrisville early Thursday morning when he was shot in the back of the head, left thigh, and under both armpits.

A handwritten note from the person who left the dogs inside the Morrisville Dog Park said they had been rescued from "an old lady who has too many dogs."

The puppies were left inside the fence of the Morrisville dog park on Saturday morning, according to Morrisville police.

Heavy traffic is expected Monday as the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission will begin a week of closures in the northbound lanes on Route 1 Monday that are scheduled to run through Saturday.
