HORSHAM — A pedestrian was killed Friday night after being struck by a vehicle on the border of Bucks and Montgomery counties.

Horsham Police Chief Scott Fida said in a statement a person was hit in the 300 block of County Line Road in Horsham between Henry Avenue and Norristown Road around 7:30 p.m. Several people were administering CPR to the struck individual as police and first responders arrived.

The injured person was taken to Jefferson Abington Hospital where they passed away. Their identity was not disclosed and the investigation is ongoing.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene. Fida said there is nothing suspicious about the crash.

The chief asked any witnesses to the incident to contact them at 215-643-8284.

A collision between a tractor trailer and a sedan in the same area of County Line Road in Feb. 2023 left a 19-year-old dead, according to numerous media reports.
