MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — One person is dead after two men exchanged gunfire on Saturday night.

Middletown Township police said they found a man with a gunshot wound lying on the ground outside a house on Quickset Road in the Quincy Hollow section of Levittown around 10:30 p.m. Officers began life saving efforts but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman with a head wound and a man shot in the torso and leg was also found at the home. They were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries and are expected to survive, according to police.

Police say all three knew each other

The three people involved in the shooting are known to each other but their identities were not disclosed. An investigation continued into Sunday morning. Police said there is no threat to the community.

Middletown Township police Capt. Peter Feeney told LevittownNow.com a "dispute" between may have led to the shooting.
