Pennsylvania man dies after NJ Turnpike crash involving 3 BMWs

🚨 The driver was pronounced dead at the scene
A Bucks County man was killed in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike early Monday morning involving three BMWs.
Alton Smith, 30, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, was struck by a Hyundai car after he got out of his BMW 328i.
Smith had hit a BMW 428i sedan that was parked on the side of the road following a crash with a BMW X3 around 2:15 a.m. in the southbound inner lanes south of Exit 8 (Route 33) in Robbinsville, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.
The driver of the Hyundai was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
It is the second fatality on the Turnpike in Mercer County in 2024 and the seventh on the entire roadway, according to State Police records.
