1 dead after vehicle crashes into tree in Solebury
SOLEBURY, Pa. — One person was killed in a single vehicle crash Friday night, according to police.
The vehicle driven by a 26-year-old man was headed south on Route 32 (River Road) in Solebury around 8:35 p.m. when it went off the road, onto the shoulder and into a tree, according to Solebury police. The man was extricated from his vehicle but was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified Saturday afternoon as Nicholas Camillo of Plumstead.
Video posted by 6 ABC Action News shows the vehicle flipped over on its roof.
Excessive speed was a likely factor in causing the crash, according to police.
Police asked witnesses to the crash to call 215-328-8511.
